The Uphill Trust was established in 2015 to support the development of Uphill Junior School, a privately owned Primary School with Kindergarten in rural western Uganda. Where is Uphill Junior School?
Our current goals include providing suitably equipped permanent school buildings, maintaining a motivated and well-qualified teaching staff, facilitating access to clean water and good sanitation, and supporting the education of both girls and boys, orphans and children affected by extreme poverty and/or HIV/AIDS. Projects funded to date.
When funding is available, we also support projects that benefit the wider community, such as provision of mosquito nets, solar lanterns and reading glasses for community elders. Helping the community to see again.
Please help us to provide quality education for the young children in this rural area, many of whom would not be able to go to school without our help. How Uphill Junior School came into being.
The Uphill Trust is a NO OVERHEADS charity and ALL THE FUNDS RAISED directly benefit the school and its pupils. Background to The Uphill Trust.
